Make Road Stretch Safer to Reduce Road Crash Fatalities
Community for Safer Roads, Jaipur along with various Government and private stakeholders has launched a project titled Making Road Stretches Safer to Reduce Road Crash Fatalities on certain accident prone urban / sub-urban roads. To initiate the project our organization has identified an urban road stretch, around 25 kilometers in length, in a Jaipur city. Road Safety requires a multi-pronged approach; thus, working on one aspect is insufficient. Complying with the strategy, the organization has sought collaboration of various stakeholder departments such Transport Department, Traffic Police, Road Owning Agencies, Medical & Health Department, RIICO and certain other private partners including Sitapura Industries Association, Jaipur. The activities being organized under this project are broadly classified into the following dimensions:
Road Engineering | Enforcement | Education & Training | Emergency Response |
